First Birthday

First off, thank you to all those that joined us in celebrating Cali's first birthday. It was CRAZY couple of weeks for Mommy and Daddy leading up to the party, but I think everything turned out great. Cali loved the frosting on her cake, more than the cake itself, but don't we all. I think she really liked having everyone around, especially the kids. Cali loves kids. I think her deep desire to walk is grounded in the fact that she just wants to play with the kids. She didn't walk on her birthday and she's still probably a week or two away. Her confidence level with the whole - letting go of mommy or daddy - isn't quite there yet.

Anyhow, her first birthday was a great success. Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us. :)
