Two and Growing Quickly

Cali is learning and growing up so quickly. She changes from day to day that it's hard to keep up with her. It's hard to keep up on this blog with life in general. She talks so much now. I love her toddler jibberish. It's hilarious and has both Mark and I laughing out loud. She knows that she has the capability of watching cartoons on my phone and has made assumptions that just getting in the car means she gets to watch cartoons. And says "phone?" "minnie?"... She thinks every time we leave the house we are going to get something to eat...so when we are going to home depot or something...she says "let's go! eat?!"... She's very commanding of the dogs and tells them "zeus! fox! outside!" and will run to the doggie door and point for them to go outside. She also loves them to death and hugs them as much as she can or as much as they let her. She colors so much and wants me to draw all the time - dogs, cats, fish, shapes. Cali climbs up on the bar chairs and wants to be involved. She used to use a rice cleaning bowl as a step stool once she figured out she could see up on the counter. Now she has a step stool and she loves the independence. Whenever she wants something she raises her hand and says "I do! I do!" She learned it from Sid the Science kid, but it's adorable because out of no where you will hear her say "I do! I do!" and sometimes she wants what you are messing with or sometimes she wants what is on the tv. It can vary. Anyhow, that's my Cali is 2 download. She is amazing and funny and we have tons of fun! So smart and getting smarter everyday! I hope to keep this updated so we can catalog all the changes over this next year as she starts to become her own little person.
