Seems as if life just goes so quickly and suddenly, months have gone by and I haven't written. Cali is amazing. She is so grown up. She talks up a storm and just learns more and more everyday. You can ask her questions and she actually answers. The following are some spectacular moments I want to remember:
1. As we were driving down the street, we heard her counting in the back seat "1, 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 17, 18." So we asked her, "What are you counting?"..."The trees!" She enthusiastically answered. She was counting the palm trees that line Main Street in Corona. It was so cute.
2. I was giving Cali a bath and she starts clapping her arms and saying "Ot..Ot." So, I asked, "What are you doing?" She responded, "I'm a seal. Ot Ot"
3. On Easter morning I asked her what she wanted for breakfast, she said "McDonalds" I thought McDonalds how does she even know what that is? And now whenever we go by a McDonalds she inquisitively asks "McDonalds?" I think we have a problem.
4. She now has decided that she has to bring a purse, much like her mom everywhere to her. Except for she has not chosen a little purse that looks like a purse. But her "first purse" by fisher price that has a face and sings songs that her Auntie Sarah had given her at Christmas. It is rather cute though and she does get compliments.
5. Sadly, Blondie passed away on April 27th. But luckily Cali did get to spend a little time with her as they had to spend the night at our house one weekend. She became quite fond of the little blonde dog. so fond, she called both Mystie and Blondie - Blondie. She was a great dog and Cali loved her too. :)
