Okay, so I thought I’d take a minute and brag about all the funny, cute, and amazing things that have been going on in Cali’s world.
Cali loves music and American Idol. First, she’s obsessed with this music push toy that she got from her Aunt Sarah at Christmas. It sort of looks like an old school lawnmower of sorts, that when pushed rings chimes so it makes music. Cali loves it and will push it back and forth and back and forth. She still doesn’t have much leverage, so the tunes are rather short. She loves to sing a long to American Idol, especially when they belt it out, Cali sings a long right with them.
With the time change we’ve been able to go for family walks again in the afternoon before the sun goes down. We also take the dogs. Cali loves walking with the dogs and can’t keep her eyes off of them. She loves walking them so much that when we got home, she insisted we put a leash on one of her miniature happy meal size stuffed animal dog. She then proceeded to cruise around the room with her dog on a leash. It was precious.
Okay and my last thing to brag about. I made Cali a flip book with the Alphabet, Numbers, and Animals. It’s cool what you can do with powerpoint, sheet protectors, and a binder. Anyhow, Cali loves it. She especially loves the “G for Grapes” “I for Ice Cream” and “J for Jelly Beans” pages. When she gets to those pages she pretends to eat the items straight off the page by pinching the page and then putting the delicious imaginary morsel in her mouth. Also, when she gets the Monkey, she makes a monkey sound and when she gets to the Frog, she stomps one of her feet on the ground and says “Bop.” We aren’t sure where she’s picked this up from, but its ADORABLE none the less.
