Outspoken

"Hey You! You took away my food. That was my dinner!" is what Cali blurted out at a waiter that took our plates at a restaraunt. Our little Miss Independent has had no problems speaking up for herself lately. It makes me very proud that I'm raising a girl that is not afraid to speak her mind.

Also, when we were in San Diego we were staying at a hotel with a free continental breakfast without posted hours. So, one morning we were too late and the food had been cleaned up for the morning. Oops! We went back to the room and Cali seemed to handle it well, but she wasn't that thrilled and kept telling me she "wanted to get out of here."

When we left the hotel room (which was across the way from the hotel laundry room) we saw some ladies from housekeeping and Cali yells at the housekeepers, "You took my food?!!" The women kind of giggled at the cute girl talking to them and not being able to understand her toddler talk. Then she said, "That's not very nice taking my food."
