One of the best parts of my day is feeding Cali in the morning.
When she’s done eating in the morning, she will stop and just stare at me. I love watching her observant eyes studying my face. Then as if she recognizes me for the first time, she will gleefully smile. It’s her precious toothless smile that melts my heart and a memory I hope to cherish forever.
